| It was a nice warm day with a bit of a breeze. The grass was lush and growing fast so 'tough in the rough'; the greens were better than last week but still bumpy so there was only one 2 (please ring 2s but not other birdies). The Committee were slow this week and had to let a group through with the Swifts forced to wait patiently behind. The winner with 40 points was Steve Coomber from Andrew Rhodes, Tony Biggs (who just got to the club in time for tee off), Rob Contreas and Brian Trickey. The losers were committee 1 & 2, god-fried, not-graduated, popeye's partner, pillow-fright, carthorse, trombone, spiderman, dusty and jolly (this is an obscure nickname apparently). |
